“Traumatized people chronically feel unsafe inside their bodies: The past is alive in the form of gnawing interior discomfort. Their bodies are constantly bombarded by visceral warning signs, and, in an attempt to control these processes, they often become expert at ignoring their gut feelings and in numbing awareness of what is played out inside. They learn to hide from their selves.” (p.97)”

ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jessica, a passionate social worker and massage therapist committed to helping people achieve balance, healing, and well-being. I specialize in blending evidence-based practices with the art of massage therapy, addressing both the emotional and physical aspects of healing to support my clients on their personal journeys.
My path to this work is deeply personal. Diagnosed at a young age with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and later with an autoimmune disease, I understand the challenges of navigating both mental and physical health struggles. These experiences have fueled my desire to make a difference in others’ lives. I believe that healing is not one-dimensional—it requires compassion, understanding, and an integrative approach that considers the whole person.
With a background in social work and specialized training in EMDR therapy, I take a trauma-informed approach to my practice. This means that I create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore and process their experiences without judgment. Whether we’re addressing past trauma, emotional stress, or physical tension, my goal is to empower clients with tools for lasting transformation.
In addition to my professional work, I am passionate about lifelong learning and holistic wellness. I enjoy exploring how mindfulness, bodywork, and therapeutic practices can intersect to promote overall well-being. I’m inspired every day by the resilience and strength of the people I work with. Whether you’re seeking emotional support, physical healing, or a blend of both, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey.
Let’s connect and start your path to wellness together.

EXPERIENCE
My experience as a social worker and massage therapist has allowed me to work with diverse populations, each with unique stories and challenges. I’ve had the privilege of supporting victims and family members of victims of human and sex trafficking, offering them a trauma-informed approach and a safe space for healing. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of compassionate care.
I’ve also worked extensively with veterans, collaborating with programs like the Catch A Lift Foundation, which supports post-9/11 combat-wounded veterans in rebuilding their lives. These interactions have reinforced the importance of addressing both emotional scars and physical well-being.
Additionally, I work with clients impacted by cancer and medical trauma, helping them navigate the emotional and physical toll of their journeys. Through my training in EMDR and trauma-informed practices, I provide tools to process grief, anxiety, and trauma effectively.
My work extends to supporting individuals through life transitions, managing mental health disorders, and addressing generational trauma. I approach each client with empathy, using evidence-based methods to promote healing and growth. It’s an honor to guide clients as they navigate these challenges, helping them reclaim a sense of peace and empowerment.

CONTACT ME
Out-of-Network
I am a resident in social work (License #0906016272) and currently considered an Out-of-Network provider with all insurance plans. Please don't close this window just yet. I know that is not ideal for some.
You can still use your insurance! I will provide you with a receipt (a "superbill") that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Many plans reimburse up to 80-90% of fees, making sessions the same price as a copay. If you have questions about this process, please reach out, or it can be discussed during your introductory phone call.
I offer a small number of reduced rate slots. Please inquire if the fee is a barrier to our work together! I am flexible and willing to work with you to help get started with therapy.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
The No Surprises Act was created for protecting you from surprise billing. You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) detailing how much your medical care will cost before you receive care. Effective January 1, 2022, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate to new and continuing clients that are uninsured or do not plan to submit a claim to their medical insurance plan for medical services and items.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the total cost of service orally and in writing. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day prior to your medical service and appointment.
If your total cost of service is $400 above the Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate (GFE) in a safe place and take pictures of your Good Faith Estimate.
